Wren is a personal, self-hosted household assistant, built and operated by one individual (the "operator") for the private use of a single household. It is not a commercial product or public service. These terms describe the basic conditions of using it.
Access is limited to people the operator personally knows and has invited - members of one household. There is no public signup, and nothing here is offered to the general public.
Wren is provided for ordinary personal and household use: managing schedules, lists, reminders, home devices, and similar tasks for the household that runs it. It is not to be used for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that would violate the terms of a connected third-party service (such as Google's own terms).
Some features work by connecting to services you already use, such as Google Calendar, Gmail, or others described in Wren's Privacy Policy. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms - Wren only acts on your behalf, within the permissions you grant it, and connecting Wren to a service doesn't change your relationship with that service's own provider.
The operator may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Wren at any time, for any reason, without notice - it is a personal project run for one household's convenience, not a service with any uptime or continuity commitment.
Any household member may stop using Wren, or disconnect any connected account (see the Privacy Policy for how), at any time. The operator may also revoke a household member's access to Wren at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, Wren - it is offered informally, at no charge, as a household convenience.
If these terms change meaningfully, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
